Katarina Glos is a graduate of Munich University and is completing a European College of Veterinary Dermatology certified residency.
Who are we? We are veterinary dermatologists and a resident in veterinary dermatology, who spend 100% of our professional time helping animals with skin disease. Between us, we have more than 40 years working in the field of veterinary dermatology. To become a certified (boarded) veterinary dermatologist, one undertakes an intensive, highly specialised training of between 2 and 4 years duration. This includes years of practical training side by side with a qualified dermatologist, dermatopathology training and intensive "basic science" studies.
The final examinations undertaken at the end of the training are recognised world wide. But this is only the start of what makes a good dermatologist.
We pride ourselves on our ability to communicate with both owners and referring veterinarians, to create individualized treatment plans and to keep up to date with the rapidly changing information in this field.
